  1. Where is VProtect's product manufactured?

    VProtect's products are designed and developed by our R&D team located in the company headquarters: San Marino, California. The entire system was developed in-house, including software, hardware, and the website. The hardware is manufactured by an overseas OEM company.

  2. Will I need to purchase equipment to use VProtect's system?

    VProtect's System will work with your existing CCTV equipment.  It will not be necessary to purchase any additional equipment.  You will be provided with VProtect's system which allows you to view your site(s) remotely and store data.  This is a part of your monthly service, much like your cable box.

    This version of the Vprotect's system is made to withstand anything in an industrial environment.  Different versions of varying sizes will be released at a later date.

  4. Does your system work with a pan/tilt/zoom camera?

    Yes, Vprotect's system works with PTZ cameras.  Users can control PTZ cameras remotely by VProtect's web-based tools.

  5. Do I need to buy an expensive software package?

    No, VProtect's System does not require special software.  Your browser is the only software you need.

    VProtect's system makes it possible for you to:

    Yes, VProtect's system works with any Java enabled browser.  However, Internet Explorer 5.0 and Netscape 4.7 or above are recommended.

    No.  It is against federal regulations to include audio in any surveillance video.
